Saudi forum to focus on competitiveness

International and local experts will examine factors enabling competitiveness of nations and businesses at a forum in Riyadh.

The Global Competitiveness Forum (GCF), under the theme ‘Building Competitive Partnerships,' will be held at the Four Seasons Hotel from January 18 to 20.

It will discuss global and regional trends in business competitiveness and developing a world class infrastructure in Saudi Arabia.

The GCF will also include the 'Invest in Saudi' exhibition which will both showcase investment opportunities in the kingdom and provide an ideal networking platform for participants.

Other topics of discussion include ‘Fostering Entrepreneurship – Catalysing Innovation’, ‘Women Stimulating Economic Development’ and ‘Employability - Synergizing Job Creation and Education.’

The panels and workshops will focus on boosting entrepreneurship, problem solving and creating a positive environment for entrepreneurs; encourage and empower women to play an active role in Saudi Arabia's economic development; and the links between Saudi's education system and the job market. - TradeArabia News Service
