Oman-based Khimji Ramdas (KR) Group is set to launch the KR Group 2014 Calendar Art, which will celebrate its social initiatives in the last year.

The initiative seeks to commemorate the different social endeavours undertaken by the company with a number of not-for-profit organisations and governmental institutions in the Sultanate, said a statement.

The 2014 calendar depicts noteworthy social initiatives of these institutions supported by KR, highlighting their positive impact on the Omani society at large, it said.

As part of its ongoing corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, the group has supported a number of organisations through offering financial aid or procuring supplies for their efficient functioning.

Nailesh Khimji, director, said: “The Khimji Ramdas Group plays an active role in the community development; KR’s focus has always been towards empowering people and bringing about a positive change in their lives.
