His Majesty King Hamad yesterday (March 5) received world famous singer Julio Iglesias, who is in Bahrain to stage two concerts as part of the seventh Spring of Culture Festival.

His Majesty commended the important role of the festival in enriching cultural life and promoting tourism, stressing co-operation between the Culture Ministry, the Economic Development Board and the Shaikh Ibrahim Bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Centre for Culture and Research.

He bestowed the medal of proficiency on the Spanish singer in recognition of his prolific musical achievements. – TradeArabia News Service
