The newest luxury car, the Genesis G90, has arrived in the Middle East after being unveiled to the region’s media in Dubai this week.

Offering superior levels of comfort and technology, advanced safety and driver assistance features, and a choice of three V6 and V8 engines including an all-new twin-turbo option, the G90 has been engineered from the ground up to offer customers a distinctive choice, the company said.

The impressive full-size sedan will be the flagship of the all-new Genesis brand, and is the first in a planned range of cars that will redefine the top end of the automotive market, it said.

It is due to be followed by the more driver-focused G80, including sports variant, before the end of 2016. The compact G70 is planned for a 2017 launch, while two SUVs and a sports coupe are expected by 2020 to complete an enticing six-model line-up.

Genesis aims to create cars around customers’ unique lifestyles, with a strong emphasis on originality. The G90 is a powerful representation of the new brand’s ‘Athletic Elegance’ design language, which will be carried through to future Genesis products, Song said.

The sedan creates a strong first impression on the road, with a prominent bonnet, long wheelbase and short front and rear overhangs creating an immediate sense of purpose.

The passenger cabin is lovingly crafted from the finest materials and textures, and with meticulous attention to detail. Soft leather seats are adjustable to the smallest detail of personal preference, while superior levels of noise insulation ensure that passengers can enjoy their journey with a sense of pure relaxation.

With this system, G90 will employ automatic braking when it detects another vehicle or pedestrian at an unsafe closing rate of speed.
