Amman to host homeland security summit

AMMAN, JORDAN, May 4, 2016

A homeland security summit being held in Amman, Jordan, will focus on dealing with threats that interlink the internal and external security of the Middle East.

The Middle East Homeland Security Summit will take place between November 7 and 9 and will host distinguished and eminent speakers, who will share their insights about the current challenges in the region.

The event is also considered as an extraordinary platform for security officials, counter-terrorism officials, border protection officials etc., to assemble at a single venue to share their expertise knowledge regarding the measures and outcomes of their approaches towards the security threats currently in the Middle East region, a news release said.

The security summit this year will concentrate on bringing about radical changes in the security system and deploy latest and more modern technology that will help in countering the obstacles that are regarded as a major threat to the regions security sector.

The event will be will also be attended by the General Director of Gendarmerie, where he will address the gathering and provide valuable key insights and would also discuss and clarify all possible solutions for the third consecutive year. – TradeArabia News Service
