Speaking at the recently held IT DNA Security Workshops in Dubai, Rajneesh Upadhyay, senior trainer at Koenig Dubai stressed the need for educating and training cyber security professionals in order to counter IT fraud, which has become highly prevalent in the GCC region.

During the event, Koenig trained attendees in an intensive two-day 'Deep-dive' to master critical IT security challenges.

The workshops prepared security professionals such as penetration testers and network security administrators to use advanced hacking techniques so as to better identify and prevent threats before they impact their organisation.

Topics covered included Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing; Digital Security and Forensics; Bypassing Security Defences; Spying and Owning System with RAT/Key Logger; Malware Analysis Process; and Best Practices for antivirus handling, amongst others.
