TeamQuest enters Asia Pacific market

DUBAI, June 19, 2015

TeamQuest, a leader in IT capacity planning and management solutions, has officially entered the Asia Pacific market via Hong Kong and Singapore.

This marks a significant milestone for TeamQuest, as it seeks to fuel the region’s booming IT sector with leading capacity management solutions that help enterprises optimise IT infrastructure while improving efficiency and business productivity.

The expansion into Asia Pacific comes as revenue growth for availability and performance tools in Hong Kong and Singapore is expected to outpace Western markets.

From 2014 to 2018, revenue growth for availability and performance tools in Hong Kong and Singapore has been projected to increase by a combined 73.25 per cent, compared with Western Europe at 34.67 per cent and 47.6 per cent for the US.

The forecast growth for availability and performance tools in the region demonstrates the rising demand in Asia Pacific for ITSO solutions, representative of the region’s rapidly developing IT industry.

Jason King, managing director, International Operations, said: “Building on our leadership position in North America and Europe, TeamQuest is expanding to bring the same value to IT organisations in the Asia Pacific region. We are excited to begin our journey in Hong Kong and Singapore, two markets that are leading by example as IT pioneers in the region.

“Our suite of capacity planning and management solutions helps businesses maximise their IT ROI, improve business growth and agility, and minimise risk. This is an area we see significant potential in Asia Pacific, as enterprises increasingly turn to new IT solutions to bolster their competitive advantage in local and international markets.”

According to a worldwide survey conducted by TeamQuest last year, about 93 per cent of IT managers surveyed reported proper IT optimisation or performance analysis would improve IT efficiency.

Meanwhile, on average, IT managers believed IT efficiency would increase by 34 per cent if they had proper performance analysis or IT optimisation and 73 per cent think their organisation’s overall IT risk would decrease.

Nearly 74 per cent IT managers who use IT optimisation or proper performance analysis say that improved IT efficiency has been a benefit.

Per Bauer, director - International Services, said: “Aside from IT efficiency, TeamQuest also provides organisations with a step-by-step roadmap to business IT maturity also referred to as IT Service Optimization (ITSO).”

Based on the same survey, four out of five organisations believed that they are at the service level of maturity where IT is able to predict and analyse different scenarios when business changes.

However, what these businesses do not know is that they are still stuck at a chaotic level of IT maturity and lacking consistent strategy for managing and improving the quality of their services. Without proper assessment, this could put their business at risk.

“Capacity management solutions bring substantial benefits and efficiencies to organisations across various industries worldwide, hence our success and longstanding partnerships with the world’s top brands including NASA, Verizon, and Visa. We are confident that Asia Pacific’s businesses, both large and small, will benefit from the value TeamQuest’s products and services unlock for their organisation,” Bauer added. - TradeArabia News Service
