RAK FTZ, Cisco discuss ties

Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone (RAK FTZ) and Cisco have decided to explore opportunities to expand cooperation following a top level meeting.
Sheikh Faisal bin Saqr Al Qasimi, chairman of RAK FTZ recently received Milo Schacher, vice president, commercial and marketing, Global emerging market, Cisco system for Middle East and South Africa at the RAK FTZ premises.
During the talks and the roundtable discussions, both sides hailed the rich economic relationship that exists between RAK FTZ and Cisco System and pledged to work closely to further strengthen bilateral relations.
Sheikh Faisal said there is immense scope for increased cooperation between the RAK FTZ and Cisco System, highlighting his vision for the RAK FTZ and the other local and regional investments.
Schacher said: “We look forward to strengthen existing ties and to leverage on the great success the RAKFTZ has had in attracting more foreign clients and in developing outstanding infrastructure.”
He added that Cisco’s leadership in emerging markets and globalisation initiative would surely serve the RAK FTZ.
Both sides discussed means of bolstering business ties and explored cooperation on the possible ways Cisco could play in enabling RAK’s regional and international vision to attract more foreign and multinational clients through global experience and technology innovation. –TradeArabia News Service
