Efforts to resolve Qatar crisis continue

Efforts to find a solution to the Qatar dispute continued with the United States Secretary of State Rex Tillerson meeting Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Arab Quartet officials separately yesterday in Jeddah.
King Salman and Tillerson reviewed bilateral relations between the kingdom and the US, the prospects of enhancing cooperation between the two friendly countries, and latest developments in the region, especially efforts being exerted for combating terrorism and its financing, said an SPA report.
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, also met Tillerson.
Tellerson had a key meeting with Saudi Arabia's Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, Egypt's Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shukri, Bahrain's Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa and UAE's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash. Kuwait's Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah was also present.
During the meeting, they discussed all aspects of the Qatar crisis, said the report.
