Taliban leader Mulla Omar dead says report

The leader of the Afghan Taliban, Mullah Mohammed Omar, has died, a BBC report said quoting Afghan officials.
The reclusive leader died two to three years ago, Afghan government and intelligence sources were quoted as saying by BBC.
Taliban spokesman contacted by news channel said the group would issue a statement shortly, BBC said.
