Car bomb kills 5, wounds 18 in Iraq capital

Baghdad, January 24, 2012

A car bomb exploded near a group of labourers in a mainly Shi'ite area of Iraq's capital on Tuesday, killing at least five people and wounding 18 others, police and hospital sources said.      

The blast occurred in the northeastern Sadr City area of Baghdad as workers gathered to wait for jobs. – Reuters
