AD Ports group targets Bangladesh port development

Leading facilitator of global trade, logistics and industry AD Ports Group has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Saif Powertec Limited to explore cooperation on port projects in Bangladesh.

The MoU was signed on Wednesday by Ahmed Al Mutawa, Regional CEO, AD Ports Group, and Tarafder Md Ruhul Amin, Managing Director of Saif Powertec Ltd., in the presence of senior officials from both parties in Abu Dhabi.

The MoU outlines plans to work together on operational projects and developments in ports across Bangladesh.

The MoU outlines plans to conduct joint activities and work on the development of ports, container depots and logistics facilities in Chattogram, Mongla, and Dhaka. A joint working group will share expertise, studies, and strategies to implement joint activities.

Capt Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, Managing Director and Group CEO – AD Ports Group, said: “This cooperation highlights our ongoing commitment to unlocking fresh opportunities globally.
