AF Switchgear opens new 40,000 sq ft factory

Switchgear manufacturer, AF Switchgear, recently opened its fifth production facility, a 40,000 sq ft factory in Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire (UK).
The brand new factory F5 was officially opened by Lee Anderson MP for Ashfield! A speech and traditional ribbon cutting service was undertaken by Anderson and Managing Director, Ian Foster as part of the annual Christmas party which was held in the new 40,000 sq ft facility. All staff and their partners were invited to witness the ceremony, tour the building plus enjoy the entertainment and refreshments laid on throughout the evening,according to a press release.
AF Switchgear is one of the UK's largest switchgear manufacturers and sets the standard for LV Switchgear and Power Distribution.
“We have four manufacturing facilities on two sites in Nottinghamshire adjacent to Junction 28 of the M1 giving us transport links all across the country. Our modern design, administration and manufacturing facilities cover over two hectares. Chartered engineers and dedicated project managers to manage every aspect of any contract. We manage every process in house from concept design with end clients and consultants through to commissioning and service,” the company said in a statement.--TradeArabia News Service
