Danfoss, a global leader in engineering technologies, is showcasing the latest innovative solutions for energy-efficient water desalination at the 20th edition of Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (Wetex 2018) in Dubai.

With water challenges raising global cause for concern, desalination has become one of the most sustainable and cost-effective solutions for land-based, offshore and marine applications due to its high energy efficiency and reliability.

In response to the increased demand of such technologies, Danfoss has pioneered groundbreaking desalination systems that further reduce energy consumption, providing up to 65 per cent of energy savings.

"Energy and water are mutually dependent, and the increasing global demand for both has an enormous impact on the future – both from an economic growth and environmental sustainability perspective," remarked Ziad Al Bawaliz, Danfoss regional president for Turkey, Middle East and Africa (MEA).
