Middle East Stone draws top ceramic companies

Leading global players in the construction industry will be bringing a wide product range to the Middle East Stone, a premier B2B event for the natural stone, marble and ceramics industry, which kicks off tomorrow (September 4) at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).
As natural stone producers and exporters of gear up for the region’s largest trade event, organisations from Turkey will bring an unparalleled display of coloured and intricately designed marble.
Under the umbrella of the national initiative, Discover Turkey, the country’s pavilion will play host to a number of natural stone organisations promoting the industry.
These include: Ege Antik Mermer, Alimoglu Mermer Granit, Antalya Mermer, Cesan Cranes, Cicekmersan Mermer, Erdem Mermer, Laloglu Grup, Mabella Marble, Prusa Mermer and Yeditepe Dogaltas.
Mabella Marble, a branch of industry veteran Sayin A.S. believe it will be emerging technology that elevates the quality of products delivered in the region.
Metin Düzer a Foreign Trade Specialist for the Turkish firm said: “Both in the global and regional market people are looking after high quality products. This can be done by using the latest technology in the quarry and in the end-product production. With today’s world rapidly changing and so it is the nature of every business to change and adapt to the new trends.
“After 4 years of R&D work we decided to enter the sector with a quarry in February 2018 with the Mabella Marble brand. We have since licensed 14 more quarries in the same region, trading Marble Blocks and Rough Marble Blocks from our quarry.”
With three marble quarries and a production capacity of 40,000sqm, Cicekmersan Mermer is dedicated to the export of Burdur Beige Marble, offering solid blocks, cut to size, and slab and tile products.
Erol Turan, Marketing Manager for Cicekmersan Mermer, said: “Dubai is a key market for us and our products have priority to be chosen for the projects here. Through the production process we use the latest technology at our quarries and factory to give the best quality to our clients.
“We have seen an upward trend for grey marble this year, as a result, we will display our new grey marble selections that have come from our recently opened quarry.”
