Oman Drydock appoints new CEO

MUSCAT, February 7, 2018

Oman Drydock Company (ODC) has appointed Said bin Hamoud al Mawali as its chief executive officer.

In his new role, Al Mawali will lead ODC’s corporate strategies and overall policies and procedures to ensure that all key people play a constructive role in the company’s development, said an Oman Daily Observer report.

Prior to his role at ODC, he was providing leadership and governance for the executive management of OTTCO since February 2014.

Al Mawali possesses 21 years of extensive experience in construction, asset management, plant operations, supply chain, cost control, business development, mergers and acquisition.

Previously, he occupied significant positions at Petroleum Development Oman, Occidental Oman, Sohar Aluminium and Oman Oil Company.

Speaking on his appointment, Al Mawali noted that the prospects for ODC are bright and he looks forward to use the collective experience of the company’s team to deliver excellence in marketing, projects execution, financial sustainability and in general any focus area that make our customers more satisfied.
