Abu Dhabi National Oil Company for Distribution (Adnoc Distribution) has announced the opening of Hafeet North and Hafeet South service stations in Al Ain city, which takes the total number of service stations in the Al Ain region to 43.

To mark the openings, the company hosted a special event at Hafeet South service station attended by Nasser Ali Al Hammadi, senior vice president, commercial sales group at Adnoc Distribution, and Rashid Al Ameemi, executive director, Municipality Services Sector, Al Ain City Municipality, said a statement.

Other Adnoc Distribution employees also attended the ceremony, it said.

The service stations are located opposite to each other on Khatam Al Shukla road in the Al Nabagh area near Al Ain Sportplex.

Each station consists of three islands with six dispensers offering E-Plus 91, Special 95, Super 98 and Green Diesel. The stations have sufficient fuelling capacity to serve 12 vehicles simultaneously.

Saeed Mubarak Al Rashdi, acting chief executive officer of Adnoc Distribution, said: “Our two new service stations in Al Ain further underlines our commitment to provide a comprehensive range of services to our valued customers by expanding its geographic presence across the UAE.”

“The new stations represent the latest stage in our efforts to meet the growing demand for our high-quality products and services driven by the rapid economic and urban growth witnessed by the country,” he said.

In addition to fuelling, the Hafeet North and Hafeet South service stations offer a wide range of facilities and allied services including shopping at Adnoc Oasis convenience stores, lube change facilities, fast food outlets and an ATM.

Additionally, the Hafeet South service station includes a light vehicle repair workshop.

Like other service stations, the Hafeet North and Hafeet South stations incorporate the latest HSE equipment and systems, thereby ensuring a safer and healthier environment for employees, customers and residents of the surrounding areas.

Additionally, both service stations use a vapour recovery system that captures and stores fumes discharged by fuel tankers to help protect and preserve the local environment, it stated. – TradeArabia News Service
