Emirates Gas (Emgas), a subsidiary of Emirates National Oil Company (Enoc) Group, recently introduced new shrink wrapped seals affixed on LPG cylinder valves including a hologram in Dubai.

The new Emgas branded seals in yellow with a pull out holographic tab have been incorporated on all LPG cylinders from last month, said a statement from Emgas.

LPG cylinders are distributed in Dubai by over 50 distributors who use more than 300 distribution vehicles. This is the first time that this new enhanced feature has been introduced in the LPG industry in the UAE.

Commenting on the new feature, Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group chief executive of Enoc said: "As a wholly-owned government entity, we continuously strive to provide best in class services and products for our consumers, and are also committed to curb practices that can lead to potential risks and hazards for our consumers."

"The launch of these new LPG cylinder seals will maintain the highest safety standards in the LPG industry," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
