Clarksons Platou to host key maritime seminar
DUBAI, October 30, 2016
Clarksons Platou, a global leader in maritime brokerage and investment banking, is set to host a key seminar on regional shipping and offshore operations at the Dubai Maritime Week 2016 which kicked off today (October 30) in Dubai, UAE.
Several prominent regional and international maritime industry figures are taking part in the five-day expo, organised by the Dubai Maritime City Authority (DMCA).
The seminar, which will further reinforce Dubai’s growing popularity as a hub for major maritime events, is being held at the Dubai World Trade Centre tomorrow, said a statement from DMCA.
Leading analysts from across the company’s global network will share business intelligence on key developments in the dry bulk, tankers, specialised projects, and offshore sectors, it added.
Opening the event with his welcome address will be Essam Bella, managing director of Clarksons Platou Dubai.
The seminar presentations will include ‘A View from the Hold – Dry Bulk Shipping and Commodities’, ‘Tanker Market Development’, ‘Specialised Products Market Development’, ‘Offshore Fundamentals’, and ‘How the Suez Canal Has Succeeded in Attracting Business Despite Challenging Markets’, it said.
Additionally, the seminar will also host an interactive cargo panel discussion, it stated.
