The reports on the exploration activities could be used as references for domestic and foreign investment, Ali Asgharzadeh, exploration director, IMIDRO, was quoted as saying in an Iran Daily report.

The organisation is currently in talks with foreign investors, said the official adding that the required information of the mines is ready for study.

He added that a sum of $400 million has been allocated for exploration activities for the coming five years, 50 per cent of which will be provided by IMIDRO.
