Bahrain urged to replace corrosive steel pipes

MANAMA, February 10, 2016

Bahrain should be replacing its pipelines with alternatives made from non-metallic materials, according to an expert. Chairman of the 16th Middle East Corrosion Conference and Exhibition (MECC), Abdullah Al Ghamdi, said carbon steel pipes dominated the GCC landscape despite being more corrosive, reported the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
