Egypt, Russia to set up industrial zone in Suez Gulf

Egypt and Russia are set to sign a number of deals to establish an industrial zone in the Suez Gulf area, according to a report.
A Russian delegation, headed by the Minister of Trade and Industry, which will include representatives of 60 major firms, will meet Egyptian counterparts to sign the memorandums of understanding (MoUs) in this regard, said the Ahram report.
The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) is also expected to agree with Egyptian banks to finance future projects to be carried out by private sector in the two countries, it added.
