Motorcity receives Hyundai Heavy Industries team

Motorcity's parts department received a delegation from Hyundai Heavy Industries together from Hyundai Heavy Industries together with their GCC regional distributors at the recently opened central parts distribution centre in Ma'ameer, Bahrain.
 
The purpose was to tour the new modern and high standards facility with a discussion on the implementation and processes of best practice offered at the centre, said a statement.
 
The guests were welcomed with an address by Dr Bijan Majidi, senior general manager of Motorcity, followed by a presentation about the facility by Brett Mommsen, general manager – After Sales at Motorcity and then a tour of the facility by Agnelo Fernandes, parts manager at Motorcity.
 
The new spare parts distribution centre provides parts for over 16 franchises under one roof. 
 
The total area of this facility is more than 6,000 sq m and can accommodate more than 75,000 line items. 
 
As the warehouse is temperature controlled to 25 degrees Celsius, the cool dust free environment greatly increases staff productivity and assists in maintaining the quality of rubber components and other parts. 
 
The modern facility also provides customers with a lounge, a free WiFi connection and refreshments while waiting for their parts delivery. 
 
Furthermore, an easy access and other facilities are available specifically for paraplegic customers.
 
At the end of the visit, the delegation expressed their admiration of the quality services offered at the central parts distribution centre. - TradeArabia News Service
