US-based Diebold, a leading provider of integrated self-service, security systems and services, and Saudi Arabia’s Alhamrani Universal Company (AU) have announced the renewal of their distribution agreement in the kingdom.

AU is the exclusive distributor for Diebold products and solutions in Saudi Arabia.

The new four-year agreement enables AU to exclusively install and service Diebold technology through a large, reliable and professional service organisation with the skills and reach to best support the transformation goals of Saudi Arabian financial institutions, said a statement.

For more than 30 years, Diebold and AU have successfully collaborated to support the rapid growth of the kingdom's retail banking sector through the continued delivery of innovative banking solutions tailored to suit the needs of local customers.

Bassem Bouzid, senior vice president and managing director, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Diebold, said: “Our partnership with AU enables us to continue to have a strong presence in the important Saudi Arabian market, and also effectively bring collaborative innovation to customers in the country.”
