Bahrain-based Asry, a leading regional ship and rig repair yard, has been certified by the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) for cladding and welding of tailshafts. ABS carried out a survey of Asry facilities and associated quality procedures in June and approved the yard for the certification based on the results of that survey, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
