SR Technics, a leading provider of technical solutions to airlines, has signed a six-year integrated component services contract with the Indonesian low-cost carrier Lion Air.

 

The firm has been expanding its presence in South East Asia over the past few years and today marks a new milestone in the pursuit of its international growth strategy, said a statement.

 

From this month, SR Technics will take full responsibility for managing Lion Air’s integrated component support services for its A330 fleet, it said.

 

The contract will cover component maintenance and flexible availability solutions, including the management and maintenance of components (part numbers) under a flight hour rate.

 

The services will be managed from SR Technics’ Center of Excellence for component maintenance in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and from its operational headquarters in Zurich. 

 

The contract will also include on-site support, pool access, logistics and leasing facilitation.
