Austrian company plans $6bn investment in two Iran projects

An Austrian company is planning to invest around $6 billion in two oil and petrochemical projects in the Iranian province of Ilam, a senior official said in a report.
The firm is interested in investing in the Dehloran petrochemical plant and Dehloran NGL oil refinery, Mohammadreza Morvarid, governor general of Ilam, was quoted as saying in the Iran Daily report, following a meeting with the visiting delegation of Austrian financers, citing Shana.
He did not name the foreign company but said due measures will be taken to sign the contracts for the projects in one month, added the report.
