Iran port's non-oil exports on the rise
Iran’s Shahid Bahonar Port non-oil exports up 33pc

Iran’s non-oil exports from southern Shahid Bahonar Port during March 21 to September 22, showed an increase of 33 per cent compared to figures for the same period last year, a senior official was quoted as saying in a report.
Director of the Ports and Maritime Office Mohammad Mohseni added that 703,337 tonnes of goods were exported from the port during the six-month period, added the Iran Daily report, citing IRNA.
The port also exported 50,544 tonnes of oil products during the six-month period showing a 78 per cent growth against the figure for the same period in 2104, he added.
Petrochemicals, agricultural products, minerals, bitumen, fruits and vegetables, protein-rich products, ironware and construction materials were the main items exported to Gulf littoral countries and Indian Ocean countries from the port, added the report.
