Saudi Arabia’s imports dropped 9.9 per cent in June compared with a year earlier, while non-oil exports slid 21.1 per cent, data from the Central Department of Statistics and Information showed on Thursday.

The kingdom's non-oil exports amounted to SR15.379 billion ($4.09 billion) in June of this year, compared to SR19.499 billion ($5.19 billion) in the same month last year.

The imports totalled SR51.825 billion ($13.81 billion) in June 2015, compared to SR57.537 billion ($15.33 billion) in 2014.
