Honeywell Black security camera series makes debut in ME

Honeywell, a leading manufacturer of electronic security systems, has unveiled the Honeywell Black series, its new range of security cameras designed specifically for small and medium businesses (SMBs) across the Middle East.
The cost-effective technology delivers high performance and reliable security solutions which users can easily install, operate and maintain, said a statement.
The portfolio of Honeywell Black series IP camera solutions include, Infrared, Box, Zoom, Fixed dome, and speed dome cameras.
The new line is complemented with a Digital Video Recorder (DVR) and Network Video Recorders (NVR) making it one of the easiest security systems to install and ideal for homes, small offices, warehouses and small retail stores.
Dr Rida Hamza, regional general manager, said: “As an emerging market the Middle East has a large number of SMBs forming the backbone of the economy, the new range of security cameras provide them with the right level of security and ease of installation at a competitive price.

SMBs play an integral part of many of the top economies in the Middle East, accounting for 30 per cent of UAE’s GDP and 25 per cent of Saudi Arabia’s GDP, highlighting the large number of small and medium businesses in the region.
The Honeywell Black series has been designed to fit smaller scale and entry-level security applications, bringing SMBs world-class quality products to secure their personnel and assets and to improve their working environment while reducing maintenance and training expenses.
