Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) has been named the Gold Winner in the Environmental Best Practice category of the International Green Apple Awards 2014 for its project on 'Fluoride Emission Reduction'.

Alba's chief operations officer Isa Al Ansari and manager for training and recruitment Rawdha Al Aradi were presented with the trophy and certificate at a presentation ceremony in The Houses of Parliament, UK, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

This win brings international recognition to Alba's commitment towards creating and maintaining a sustainable environment, thus fostering a healthy work environment for its employees.
