State-owned Dubai Aluminium Company Limited (Dubal) has re-certified to ISO standards in quality and environmental management in line with its aim to uphold international standards in all operational areas.

Being an industrial enterprise, whose activities and processes pose inherent potential risks, Dubal is conscious of the need to safeguard the environment and to protect the safety and health of both employees and the residents of surrounding communities, said a company statement.

Dubal is equally committed to absolute quality in the products and services offered to customers across the world, it added.

This is reflected in Dubal's corporate certification to several major international quality standards — two of which have been renewed recently following audit-based visits by assessors from the certification body Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA).

The renewal certifications are BS EN ISO 9001:2008 for quality management system and BS EN ISO 14001:2004 for
environmental management system.

Dubal also holds the ISO certifications for automotive production and relevant service part organisation, occupational safety and health administration system, information security management system and information services management.
