Sabic sees end to India, China dumping row

Saudi Basic Industries Corp (Sabic) sees an end to disputes with India and China over anti-dumping measures against the world's biggest petrochemicals firm, its chief executive said in remarks published on Wednesday.
"We expect the Indian government to intervene and end this case," Mohamed al-Mady was quoted as saying in business daily al-Eqtisadiya.
An anti-dumping case with China was also over and there will be cooperation between Sabic and China, Mady added.
Mady could not immediately be reached for comment.
India and China have both launched anti-dumping measures againt Gulf firms inclusing Sabic, Saudi media has reported.
China said on June 24, that it had begun an investigation into methanol imported from Saudi Arabia and three other countries to assess whether the material had been dumped into the Chinese market at below production prices.-Reuters
