CargoGulf offers quicker ME services

Dubai, July 6, 2008

Just three months after opening its first UK office, non vessel operating common carrier (NVOCC) CargoGulf has launched improved services from the UK to the Middle East.

The company on Sunday started operating direct groupage services to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman and Jeddah.

“CargoGulf has taken this strategic step in response to customer demand and the rapid growth we have seen in the last three months,” explains Mike Millar, general manager, CargoGulf UK Limited.

“We can now offer quicker and more efficient handling than other carriers who mostly use Dubai as the transhipment hub for the whole of the Middle East,” he noted.

Millar attributes CargoGulf’s rapid growth, particularly in the forwarding sector, to a company policy of integrity and neutrality, coupled with a strategic aim to provide competitively priced, first rate services in response to market needs.

'UK forwarders know that sensitive commercial information is safe with us. That trust underpins our client relationships and is key in enabling us to grow our business quickly,' he noted.

'Leveraging CargoGulf’s experience in groupage consolidation and long term freight agreements with leading shipping lines, our clients can look forward to growing with us,' he added.

CargoGulf additionally provides services to Sharjah (UAE), Doha, Dammam and Riyadh via Dubai. The company is one of the UK’s leading NVOCCs with receiving stations throughout the UK and weekly sailings to and from the Middle East and Asia Pacific.-TradeArabia News Service
