DHL Exel Supply Chain has strengthened its ties with Bahwan Cybertek under a new corporate brand Bahwan DHL Exel Supply Chain.

The newly named company is committed to providing complete supply chain and logistics solutions using the latest technologies and best industry practices to support Oman’s booming economic growth, especially in the oil and gas sector.

Among existing customers for the new company is Petroleum Development Oman LLC (PDO), a leading exploration and production company in the Sultanate. It has a significant cargo haulage contract with Bahwan DHL Exel Supply Chain, as well as a fourth party logistics (4PL) management agreement. 

PDO accounts for more than 90 per cent of Oman’s crude oil production, nearly all its natural gas supply and generates 40% of the country’s GDP.
