Alba launches breast cancer awareness campaign

In line with its ongoing commitment to employees’ health and well-being, Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), a global aluminium leader, has kick-started its month-long breast cancer awareness campaign with a lecture by Dr Fatema Hubail, the Chief Health Promotions Programs at the Ministry of Health.
The lecture delivered in-person to Alba Ladies at the Oasis Hall was also broadcasted live to all employees and their family members on October 3.
Alba’s senior management was represented at the event by the Chief Operations Officer Dr Abdulla Habib, who presented a token of appreciation on the company’s behalf to Dr Hubail.
The campaign, designed to raise awareness about the disease’s causes, diagnosis, prevention and cure, will feature range of other activities dedicated to Alba female employees on general and mental health topics.
Prioritising the well-being of its female employees, the drive will include medical check-ups to be held in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and several private hospitals.-TradeArabia News Service
