Bahrain International Dental Conference draws over 700 experts

The ninth edition of Bahrain International Dental Conference & Exhibition, DLS9, gathered around 700 dental experts and specialists from within Bahrain and around the world.
 
The concluding day of the conference today (October 5) saw a special ceremony in which partners, sponsors and speakers were honored for their support and participation in this successful annual event.
 
The conference’s speeches and workshops covered a broad range of issues in oral and dental medicine such as dental implants, orthodontics or cosmetics. 
 
Apart from the lectures and workshops, there has been a dental exhibition concurrent with it displaying latest technology devices and in this field.
 
DLS9 was accredited by professional bodies in Bahrain (24 educational hours), Kuwait (20 educational hours), and Saudi Arabia (24 educational hours), offering participants valuable continuing education credits.  
The conference also served as a catalyst for collaboration among dentists and researchers, facilitating the exchange of knowledge and expertise and contributing to the advancement of the dental sector in Bahrain and the region.
 
On the outstanding success of the ninth edition of the conference, Dr Mohammed Shahda, the Chairman of DLS9 said: "We are extremely pleased with this outcome, visible by such a notable participation and fruitful partnerships with some major bodies involved in oral & dental medicine. This is in addition to the accredited educational hours and diverse scientific and training content."
 
Emphasizing the importance of this event in advancing medical education, he said: "We support every initiative that contributes to continuous learning, and this conference had a significant role in bringing together healthcare professionals and enhancing the quality of medical services, ensuring that patients receive the best care in oral and dental health, as well as in overall healthcare."
 
Lauding the record participation, Dr Shahda said: "The efficient organization of this scientific event underscores our kingdom's strong commitment to improving the healthcare sector."
