Abu Dhabi forum to explore advances and challenges in cancer treatment

SEHA, a subsidiary of PureHealth, will host a leading global conference on oncology that aims to improve cancer care across the medical industry, from June 29-30, 2024 at the Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel & Residences Emirates Pearl.

Organised by Tawam Hospital and licensed by the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the ‘Best of ASCO UAE 2024 Conference’ will convene leading international, regional and local experts to explore recent breakthroughs in cancer treatments and other advances in oncology.

The conference will analyse recent scientific breakthroughs that were showcased at the ASCO Annual Meeting 2024, in Chicago, US, from May 31 until June 5, 2024.

It will examine the latest research findings, assess their potential impact on current care standards, and integrate these breakthroughs into a clinical context.

Delegates will engage in discussions on how these cutting-edge results could revolutionise the existing standard of care, ultimately shaping the future of cancer treatments.

Dr Ghanem Ali Al Hassani, Corporate Education Director, said that SEHA is proud to announce the successful hosting of Best of ASCO, a groundbreaking cancer conference advancing oncology care.

The conference aims to bring together leading experts, researchers, healthcare professionals, and policymakers from around the globe to discuss the latest advancements and challenges in oncology care, he said.

Under the theme Towards New Era in Cancer Care, the conference will feature a comprehensive programme including keynote speeches, panel discussions and interactive workshops.

Leading speakers will share their insights on cutting-edge research, innovative treatments, and best practices in cancer prevention, diagnosis and management.
