Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), one of the world’s leading smelters, was recently declared winner of the Gold category in the International Green Apple Awards 2015 for its project ‘Aluminium Smelter to Green Oasis’.

The Green Apple Environment Awards - one of the world’s foremost environment award campaigns - recognises, rewards and promotes environmental best practices around the world.
