September ‘hottest on record’ in Bahrain

MANAMA, October 8, 2015

Last month was the hottest September in Bahrain since 1902. The mean temperature for the month was 34.5C. This is 2.1C above the long-term normal. It goes on record as the highest mean monthly temperature for September, which is the same as September 1998, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
