Bahrain hospitals on ‘cholera alert’

Hospitals in Bahrain have been put on ‘cholera alert’ after a citizen who returned from Iraq tested positive for the bacterial infection. The woman, in her late 30s, fell sick in Kuwait three days ago while en route from Iraq, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
