Life Healthcare Pharmacy opens four new outlets in Dubai
DUBAI, September 17, 2015
Life Healthcare Pharmacy, a leading pharmacy chain in the UAE, opened four retail outlets in Dubai today.
The focus was on children from Al Noor Training Centre and Rashid Paediatric Therapy Centre as they cut the ribbon to open the pharmacies at Jumeirah Lake Towers and Al Badaa in Jumeirah.
The pharmacy openings were part of the group’s expansion plan under which it opened two more pharmacies in Dubai today - in Business Bay and Jumeirah Beach Road. The pharmacies in Business Bay and Jumeirah Beach Road were opened by children of the staff of Life pharmacy chain.
“We continue to associate with special needs children in various ways and we believe inviting these kids to launch the retail outlets would complement the noble endeavours of both the organizations in integrating special needs children into the mainstream society,” said Abdul Nazar, chairman and managing director, Life Healthcare Pharmacy.
“Both Al Noor Training Centre for Children with Special Needs and Rashid Paediatric Centre play a salient role in the community by providing these children the skills and learning for them to adapt to the society and we wish to commit ourselves to support them in all their endeavours,” Nazar said.
At the opening ceremony, children also brought in paintings done by them to showcase their creativity. The mission of Al Noor Training Centre for Children with Special Needs is to provide individuals with special needs regardless of their background the same opportunity through professional training and care to realise their potential an integrate them into the wider community.
The Rashid Paediatric Therapy Centre was inaugurated in 1994 and today provides a holistic multi-disciplinary approach to special education.
“As a leading and growing healthcare group with 130 outlets in the UAE, we are conscious of our responsibility to support the community and we believe by giving this opportunity to these children to be the celebrities of the day is a gesture in the direction of integrating them to the society,” Nazar added. – TradeArabia News Service
