Infectious diseases focus of key Bahrain conference

MANAMA, September 3, 2015

Infectious disease and antibiotic misuse were at the forefront of discussions at a major new medical conference that opened in Amwaj Islands yesterday (September 2). More than 350 international, regional and national experts have gathered for the inaugural two-day Gulf-Pharma Medical Conference at the ART Rotana Hotel, which is being held under the patronage of Supreme Council for Health chairman Dr Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
