Bahrain is still on Mers alert

MANAMA, August 11, 2015

People in Bahrain could still be at risk of contracting coronavirus, despite camels in the country testing negative for the deadly virus. Health authorities in the kingdom conducted nationwide tests on camels, which were believed to be the source strain of the Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (Mers-CoV), said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
