DHA announces facilities’ Ramadan timings

DUBAI, June 17, 2015

The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has announced the working hours for all DHA hospitals, administration, primary health centres and medical fitness centres during the holy month of Ramadan.

The working hours for DHA administration will be from nine am to two p.m. from Sundays to Thursdays, said a statement.

Its hospitals and health centres will work as per shift timings and medical practitioners will be on call to ensure work continues as usual.

The emergency departments of all DHA hospitals will be functional round-the-clock.

In terms of specialist out-patient clinics, Latifa Hospital’s outpatient clinics will be open from Sundays to Thursdays from nine am to two pm.

Dubai hospital  and Rashid hospital outpatient clinics  will be open from eight am to one pm and from 1:30 pm to six pm on weekdays.

The Hatta Hospital clinics will be open from 8:30 am till 10:30 pm but there will be an Iftar break from 6:45 pm until 8:15 pm.

Among the primary healthcare centres, the Nad Al Hamar and Al Barsha health centre will function round-the-clock on all days.

All other DHA primary healthcare centres will be open from 8:30 am to three pm and from 8:30 pm to 11:30 pm on weekdays. On Saturdays, these PHCs will be open from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm.

In terms of dental services, the dental clinics in DHA hospitals will work as per the hospital timings.

Dental clinics in Nad Al Hamar, Al Barsha and Al Bidaa health centres will remain open from 8:30 am to six pm and from 8:30 pm to 11:30 pm.

Preventive services in DHA PHCs will remain open from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm.

The gynaecology clinic in DHA PHCs will be open from nine am to two pm.

The working hours for the Dubai Diabetes Centre will be nine am to one pm on weekdays. The Thalassemia Centre will remain open from seven am to 9:30 pm and the Dubai Gynaecology and Fertility Centre will be open from 8:30 am to two pm, Dubai physiotherapy services will be available from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm.

In terms of the medical fitness centres, the Al Muhaisnah centre will be open from Saturday to Wednesday from 4:30 am to 4:30 pm and from nine pm until three am. On Thursdays, it will be open from seven am to 4:30 pm. The Al Rashidiya centre will be closed.

Emirates airlines, Dafza, Al Khawaneej, Al Towar, , Al Safa, Al Badaa, Al Mankhol, Al Quoz, DIFC, Al Lusaily and Al Rashidiya medical fitness centres will remain open from nine am to two pm on weekdays.

Al Karama and Al Quoz medical fitness centres will be open from eight am to five pm on weekdays.

Jafza and Knowledge village medical fitness centres will be open from eight am to one pm. - TradeArabia News Service
