Bahrain group opens new polyclinic

Bahrain-based Al Namal & VKL Group has opened a new polyclinic, offering a variety of services with multi-specialty clinics and other ancillary services at Hidd.

The Middle East Medical Center (MEMC) is specifically designed to meet the primary and specialty needs of its patients and offers comprehensive medical services, said the company in a statement.

MEMC aims to provide cost effective, high quality medical care which embraces international standards, highest standards of excellence in healthcare and best practices in the region, it stated.

Dr Varghese Kurian, chairman and managing director of the group, said MEMC is supported by highly qualified and skilled consultants, specialists, general practitioners, nursing staff and paramedics along with the support of advanced diagnostic equipments and confluence of technology.

It is being affiliated with all major national and international insurance companies and third party administrators (TPAs) with direct billing facilities, he added.

The group also plans to open hospitals in Sugaiya and Muharraq areas in the coming year, it added. - TradeArabia News Service
