American Hospital Dubai has appointed Dr Faraz A. Khan as medical oncologist in the hospital’s Cancer Care Center.

The appointment comes as the hospital continues to develop the centre as a regional centre of excellence and prepares to launch a new and comprehensive range of diagnostic and treatment services for cancer patients.   

Dr Khan is American Board Certified in Internal Medicine (2002), Medical Oncology (2005), and Hematology (2005), and joined the hospital from Prince Edward Island (PEI), Canada, where he was medical oncologist, and hematologist, at the PEI Cancer Treatment Center in Charlottetown in addition to other medical posts.
