Seha launches feedback initiative

Abu Dhabi, September 11, 2011

Seha, the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company, has launched a new campaign that will see the company set up quarterly town hall meetings to solicit stakeholder and patient feedback.

The “Mas’aool” community town hall meetings, held in an informal setting with comfortable seating, will allow patients and their families to interact directly with Seha and its facilities decision makers to apprise them of feedback and opinion on healthcare received.

Seha’s outreach campaign is an attempt to create open yet informal channels of communication with customers who are directly impacted by healthcare provision standards. The healthcare company aims to establish clear channels for quality feedback to ensure we take on board stakeholder and customer concerns.

“Events such as this one aim at strengthening the bonds between Al Rahba, all Seha hospitals and the general public,” said Mohamed Al Daheri, deputy CEO of Al Rahba Hospital.

“These events are ideal platforms for us to informally interact with our patients and help understand their requirements and requests, and develop a model of excellent healthcare that is constantly being revised and improved based on feedback,” he added.

Salem Eisa Al Mazrouei, executive director of Al Gharbia Hospitals, expressed the importance of such assemblages to boost the facilities-public interactions away from regular norms and procedures.

“Such gatherings will break the barriers for public to get directly to the person in charge in the most efficient and effective way, and puts the ideas & suggestions produced to the an elevated level of transparency and sincerity. Ultimately, we are looking forward to continuing such sessions to let public have a part in deciding & sustaining a state of art service,” he said.

Rashid Al Qubaisi, acting CEO of AHS-Seha, said: “Through this initiative, we aim to communicate with our patients directly to understand their needs, problems, and aspirations regarding our services and performance. Patients are the reason for our existence. They are our highest priority, and one of the most valuable sources to evaluate our performance and improve our services, in order to achieve excellence and gain our patient’s satisfaction.” – TradeArabia News Service
