Abu Dhabi, June 28, 2011
Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (Seha) said it has launched a massive recruitment drive to fill in the 600 job openings for UAE nationals in the emirates' healthcare sector.
Seha (meaning health in Arabic) said it has already started interviewing the potential candidates (holders of Secondary School and Diploma certificates) who are looking to build their career through healthcare sector.
The interviews will be held till Wednesday (June 29) at Abu Dhabi Tawteen Council (ADTC) and till June 30 in Al Ain.
This is in line with the directives of General Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, to open 6,000 governmental vacancies, for Emiratis, said a statement from Seha.
The initiative emphasizes the role played by the Government entities to harness the Emirati human resources in Abu Dhabi and comes in light of the outcomes of the Tawteen workshop held in last March, it added.
Prior to the interview, the recruitment specialist from Seha will have 5 minutes with each candidate to give him/her some interview tips and advices supporting them before going to the panel for the interview, the Seha said.
The panel is interviewing candidates for the following available positions: Patient affairs clerk, Receptionist, Clerk, Patient representative, Cashier and Assistant.
Mohammad Al Hameli, chief support services division for Seha, said, “This is an important initiative to support and get Emirati people through the healthcare as well as for other governmental fields and help local citizens develop their skills and enhance their knowledge as this is one of Seha strategic objectives.”
Recently Seha started a summer training program for 303 UAE nationals to help nurture talent while encouraging those with a budding interest in the healthcare sector to explore the possibilities, revealed Al Hameli.
The program offers students’ exposure to the professional atmosphere within a healthcare company with the practical experience in Seha’s many different hospitals and clinics around the emirate. These opportunities also included 30 special needs students, he added.
ADTC chairman Ali Rashid Al Ketbi said its work team was ready to welcome UAE jobseekers and register them in different administrative posts in Seha hospitals across Abu Dhabi.
"They have been interviewed and nominated for either specialized training programs or final job interviews and employment," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
