Saudi healthcare market seen hitting $3.5bn

The Saudi pharmaceutical market is expected to register a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 5.66 per cent, growing from $2.65 billion in 2008 to $3.49 billion by 2013, said the organisers of an upcoming healthcare event in Riyadh.
Saudi Medicare 2011 – the 14th International Healthcare, Hospital Supplies and Medical Equipment Show will be held from April 10 to 13 at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Participants at Saudi Medicare 2011 will also benefit from exclusive insights regarding the Saudi healthcare industry as well as the health insurance industry in the GCC, while the event also provides ample opportunity to build networks and gain direct contact with decision makers and government procurement organizations, he said.
Saudi Medicare 2011 will be concurrently held with Saudi Eye Care 2011 – the 7th International Eye Care and Optical Technology Exhibition and Saudi Dentistry 2011 – the 10th International Dental Health Exhibition and Saudi Lab 2011 – The International Laboratory and Analytics Exhibition.
The event will also be held in conjunction with the second Radiology Technologists Conference, which will gather experts from Saudi Arabia and all over the world to share new applications, procedures, researches, trials and needs in radiology. The conference is being organized by the General Directorate of Hospital Affairs Administration of Radiology.
